Before completing our Household Carbon Calculator please gather the following information:

Electricity & Heating: Find out the number of kWh of electricity, gas and oil consumed by your household by looking at your most recent electricity bills.
Transport: Information on the personal travel habits of your family members.
Recycling Activity: Information on the current recycling habits of your household.

Before completing our Schools Carbon Calculator, you will need to gather the following information:

Litter & Waste: Values for the amount of waste (kg) going to landfill and the amount of waste (paper, plastic, etc.) recycled per week or per year.
Energy: The number of kWh of electricity, gas and oil consumed. These can be worked out by looking at bills. Any renewable energy is exempt.
Transport: Information on the traveling habits your schools staff and students.
Water: Your school should have a water meter that will show number of litres consumed by your school. If you do not have a meter you can estimate water consumption.
